Profile of LV Inverter Markets of Different Powers

According to power, Gongkong divides LV inverter markets into four categories:

1, ≤7.5 KW. The inverters are mainly used for machinery and upgrading of load, and usually applied in supporting OEM. Besides Evoc, the mainstream providers are mainly foreign brands.

2, 11 - 30 KW and 37 - 90KW. The inverters are mainly used for supporting OEM. The majority of fan and pump applications concentrate in the power category, covering part of large power load upgrading. Almost all suppliers provide products of this power category, while domestic manufacturers are relatively more. Therefore, price competition is very fierce. Sanken and Fuji are rather outstanding foreign brands.

Third, ≥110KW. The inverters are mainly used for fans and pumps and large power upgrading and transmission. With 690V as the focus, main manufacturers are foreign, represented by ABB and Siemens.

As domestic inverter manufacturers increase their size and upgrade their technologies in recent two years, the market pattern is also changing. A few domestic enterprise are entering ≤7.5 KW and≥110KW market.
